How To Prepare For The CrossFit Open
This year’s CrossFit Open will see RX, Scaled and Foundation athletes come together in the biggest fitness competition in history. There is something for everybody to test fitness, ability and have fun whilst doing it.
What is the CrossFit Open?
The CrossFit Open is the first stage of the CrossFit Games and kicks off this year on 16 February. The Open consists of a series of three workouts released over three weeks. The workout is released on Thursday and scores must be submitted online by the following Monday. The ultimate goal for top athletes will be to qualify for the next stage of competition. But for most it will be to evaluate your own fitness, hitting your own specific goals and having fun with the community. The Open is open to anyone and serves as a way for individuals compete against other CrossFit enthusiasts around the world.

- 20 Wall Balls
- 20 Chest to bar/Pull ups/Ring rows
- 20 Box Jump overs
- 2 Rng muscle ups/Bar MU/Jumping pull ups
21 – 15 – 9 – 6 – 3
- Toes to bar
- Snatch (51KG/35KG)*
- Handstand push ups/Hand release push ups
- Burpees over bar
- 10m walking lungest between rounds (2×24/16KG KBs)*Snatch weight can be scaled accordingly*
15 Minute AMRAP
